Don't blink, you'll miss it

When I was one I was just begun,
When I was two I was nearly new,
When I was three I was hardly me,
When I was four I was not much more,
When I was five I was just alive,
But now I'm six I'm as clever as clever,
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.
(A A Milne)

How did this happen?

From this...

to this...

I must have blinked.

Our new puppies are being loved to death.

I mean, look at this:

That's a pretty serious puppy hug. Can you get more 'loved' than that?

Look Stamper, LOOK at the camera!
JP has always been a bit bossy. I'm pretty sure it comes with being the oldest. They're supposed to be bossy.

I can't help but notice the similarities between the first photo and this one:

I wonder if ICAC realises his brother has two legs, not four? It's amazing Caleb has made it to 9 months. :)

We have to make our own fun out here in the sticks.

Fun here often takes the form of dinner moulded to be something. Usually it's a volcano, or a racing car. They're the beginners models.

To make these 'dinner models', it's handy to have some good ol' bangers and mash, which here in Australia is known more simply as sausages, or snags, and mashed potato. You can make anything out of sausages and mashed potato. Sometimes a few peas help. Oh, and a good imagination.

Look! I made a snail! The cheese is grass. Just pretend it's green.
The mashed potato is orange because it has other vegetables mashed in. It also helps to make the snail look a lot more authentic.

Apparently you can't eat snails with your fork.

The boys eat better when they have an object to eat, rather then just boring old food. I'll totally keep using the same Jedi mind trick for as long as it works. Even then, i'll probably keep using it because it also gives PVT a smile, and besides, I have to use something as my creative outlet.
